Re: Best Blokes
undoubtabely carey were the best blokes ive played against this year. After tea on day 2 they called the game off even though they could of continued to bat. That in my eyes is good sportsmanship.
And there are good sledges coming from behind the wicket with the introduction...
Re: best spinner
Next year it will be the battle of the left armers. With both Willy Ryan and James Betts fightuing it out to be the best spinner in the comp. I reckon that Will will be more effective in the one-dayers where he will tie up an end. Then bettsy will fire after chrissy with his...
Re: Who are the Best APS 1st XI Coaches??
Pretty sure Kenny Luxton of CGS is the best head of cricket in the APS. Has recruited well over the last year but unfortunately let Alex Keath through his net because the principal didn't organise an interview. And by all reports he was going to accept...
Re: Who Will be the Best Players Next Year
You can't be serious Keathy will play out his time at MGS and he doesn't even play softball. Also bowlers such as Handel, Everitt (CGS) and Coleman (HC) will dominate the comp next year. All of these blokes have dominated dowling over the past 2...
Re: Premiership Contenders 07/08
Their is no real contest anymore as MGS have too much experience with the likes of shaw and the promising youth of keath and betts. Compared with XC who are filled with terrific youth which will hold them in good stead for next year's title race.
Scotch College
As you walk through the luscious fields of SC it is hard to wonder why their cricketers are such upstarts. From the arrogance of Mo Clayton who carried on like a pork chop after cleaning up a HC tail which has averaged under 5 all year. Then to the groundsmen who wouldn't let us...
Re: 9th feb results?
I vouch for that. Now they have finally beaten the depleted premiers they think they are god's gift. We'll see how much they are talking when they play a side of the haileybury's quality of ther last 2 years. Maybe like a MGS or XC?
Re: haileybury
Big news Patto is back!! But only for one game against CGS then has aussie 19's committments. Depending on his progress with injury he might be back for the last game against MGS. Most likely will only be bowling 10 overs (19's world cup restrictions).
Re: Will Haileybury be Beaten this year?
Buddy when Wesley only lose 2 games in 3 years come and talk to me especially when you don't bowl and don't bat in the top 5. All you do is talk crap with your poofter pommy accent which we secretly we all laugh at. Also i had a look at your profile...
Re: Fixtures & Tips Round 3
Connor O'Byrne is his name and he can seriously play. Good left handed hard hitting batsmen, left arm med bowler and a jet in the field. Also very well known around the traps.
Re: scholarships for 08 part of season
CGS have got 3 new ones coming all in either yr 8 or 9 from Vic Under 13's. These kids are Gotch, Wyatt and Edwards. Also carey have got the Aussie u-17 keeper coming. And no HC haven't got any coming (yet!!!)
Re: Most missed player from season 06/07
Haileybury will all of the players who have won us the last 2 flags. Like Tormey, Jackson, Heinreichs, Tyrell, Bayard and Haining but we have good replacements who will win us three in a row.
Will Haileybury be Beaten this year?
After a dominant r1 vs BGS (who thought they were going to win the flag) the bloods again look dominant with some nice easy games before Chrissy to be honest i can't see anyone beaten HC especially with all the older players doing well and youngs guys...
Re: Wow, Round 1 is finally here
I can't believe you thought that BGS would beat HC. Even without PAtto and Lynchy bowling. There are still the likes of M. Wakefiled, R. Wakefield, Patto (batting), Williamson, Martin (best allrounder in the APS) and decent year 10's and 11's fighting for a...
Re: APS: Best Batsmen
You can now add his brother maxy after a flawless ton today against BGS and he is hands down the best glovemen to have played APS cricket.
Re: Results from Round 1
Another great result for the bloods bring on wesley next week. Lets be honest another samshing from the juggernaut. The three peat is on the cards even without a bowling attack. The batting lineup is as good if not better than last year. Don't be suprised if there are...
