There is absolutely nothing surer that developing your juniors is the best way to rebuild a club. However this method takes a minimum of 8 years
Introducing a points cap is just an unnecessary rule change that is going to limit movement of good cricketers to our comp.
The most idiotic of all idiotic ideas the comp has come up with in their history.
We are trying to limit the amount of higher quality cricketers into our competition because of what reason exactly?
Can anybody explain to me where there has been such a problem with a club coming into a new...
Clearly it isn’t great for Banyule to lose a player of that ability after being relegated, but I think it’s more a reflection on a captain walking out on a club he has just had relegated….
Speaking of arvo teas… some absolutely horrible efforts getting around at the moment.
have a bit of pride in your clubs and some respect for your opponents.
Makes absolute sense… we are losing the club aspect of having a social drink with the opposition after matches which is bloody important
I am still yet to find one club that opposes having Reserve Grades for 2nd XI, make it happenDVCA
unfortunately the way the pitch was prepared after footy season this year wasn’t great with the far end being lower then the ground around it so nowhere to run off
We might look at a set of covers for that end if it means we’re in with a shot of the GF
So basically grand final is a draw after CA announced no cricket this weekend..
I know it was suggested before the toss last week perhaps the DVCA should consider playing all the shield gf last Sunday as well
does anyone know why it was knocked on the head straight away?
Macleod played us at Plenty 2 weeks ago and Rob Wise was turning them right angles...
With Diamond Creeks two best bats being left hander’s going to be a bloody good effort to get these runs
With us winning the flag in D grade last season I can honestly say both Lower Plenty and Banyule 2nd XI would be easily have made the 4 in C grade this year.
This is why 2 up and 2 down has to happen sooner rather than later. Its very very hard to win a flag but a lot easier to be shit year on...
Can anyone clarify what happens with Banyule winning the E grade flag boy their 2’s already in D grade?
Will Laurimer as runner up move to D grace or will Hurstbridge survive the drop from D to E?
