In regards to the 21's, its not the strongest squad the DVCA has ever had but its probably the strongest squad that trained and good luck to all the boys selected.
I know from our point of view we nominated 5 and only 1 trained, which is a bit disappointing. Again I think its just another...
Not very..... No its not on there but if anyone wants the blokes details pm and I'm more than happy to give it to you.
If we are going to have a sook about fixtureing I need to have a whine about something..... Why would the league play any grade on the Sunday on cup weekend? Next match B grade...
Reading between the lines the only people sticking up for the bloke that does the fixtures is a mate and a bloke from his own club..... Say no more.
In regards to the website and lack of anything, it's a bloody disgrace. My club last year decided to bite the bullet and pay a professional to...
Its still only early. If you have blokes who play footy cricket gets a bit of a back seat.
I know we are only getting roughly 15-20 to each session at the moment. That being said we have had about 30-35 come through, including our new recruits!!!!! Plenty to like so far down the power plant!!!!!
Yeah spot on Bull, some of our blokes could have earn't much more money over the years. I can only say we have lost 1 bloke due to lure of the dollar and for the amount of money he would be getting i dont blame him.
But I have seen money destroy local footy, I just hope the cricket clubs don't...
To all the new people on here welcome and as I'm sure most of you have already noticed Tongs is one of the biggest knobs on here.
How many times do clubs keep their same 11 players together in the lower grades?
Pig has been appointed senior Captain for the 2012/13 season. Willo will continue on as Senior coach.
Club is wrapped to add Simon to our senior squad for next year. Premiership player Daniel Cocking has also committed to playing next year after having a season off after his stint at Northcote...
James Love is a Plenty junior, only went to Boro to play 17's a few years ago and ended up playing 1st's. Jimmy Norman is one of his best mates and came along. Hardly consider it poaching
None taken mate..
However we didn't feel the need to recruit players last season as we had just come of back to back flags. Even with 3 of the greatest players to play DVCA retire, as a club we believed out younger boys could develop with 6-7 existing premiership players remaining however out...
Are you the full bag? We won 6 flags in the last 9 seasons.... And there was only 3 blokes that played in all 6 flags. So I would have thought that basic mathematics says we must have recruited new players in that time. I know for a mater of fact that people came to us in some instances because...
Umm I reckon we have done well for the good part of the last 10 years in terms of attracting new players pal..
All I'm talking about it is you can throw all the money in the world at certain blokes but if your club are a bunch of farkwits it ain't gunna be the most attractive proposition...
Well said Cow....
Enticing players to clubs has nothing to do purely on dollars and cents and if it is then they aren't the right blokes to be recruiting.
Clubs need to realize that the culture they build off field is the biggest enticement any player can look at
Obviously the main point to any appeal must include new evidence, which Plenty bought to the table.
Plenty had their appeal upheld and all sides will start on zero points next year like everyone else. Independent witness reports cleared Plenty players and parents of any wrong doing in the...
It's not actually..... Appeals are supposed to be heard within 2 weeks of original sanction being handed down. Also they must be quite sure they know that a wittness can't actually be a participating member of the tribunal...... But hey I'm sure the DVCA already know the rules relating to this......
