I have heard (not confirmed as yet) that there is an investigation going on in to the alleged incident after the Baker v R Fletcher stoush. Not prepared to comment on Police investigations or to name any players at this stage.

Both players involved have pleaded guilty and have been suspended until 20th January 2014. Both clubs have been issued a 'please explain' and will front a hearing tonight before the delegates meeting.

That's fair enough, my mistake. For what it's worth - I would say threads like this remain quiet to protect a lot of guys' annonimity(?). It's easier to talk about players in BS, MS and the two reserve grades because their names are more well known and you don't necesarily need to play at that...

Seriously mate, what do you achieve by getting on here as an annoymous poster who hides behind his keyboard taking pot shots at a competition you don't even play in? Even without a president the DVCA is a far superior competition to any other in our region. The history of clubs wanting to leave...

It's been said since day one that the DVCA was the only competition of the 3 that would not benefit at all from the merger. The other two competitons are completely against this merger unless they get the DVCA to come along for the ride - If you read between the lines, they're basically saying...

Chesto retired after Rnd 4 last season. Bakes going around again this year and will have a look at it at the end of this season. Can't confirm any others.
