Good points. But I believe the argument was against poaching kids, not only players as a whole. Senior players are fair-game in my mind and can come and go as they please, as you have pointed out, but any club's junior cricketers should be left alone, in my opinion.

To be honest - Whittlesea only made the 4 by making the most of games against lower sides in B Grade. Games against Eltham, Lalor Stars, Us (Mernda) and Research in the last 4 rounds saw 3 outrights and a draw due to bad weather where they made 270+ and had Stars 7 for 70. Apart from those games...

You're spot on Prez - Will be on par with the bottom 5 and will probably win games against 3 or 4 of those, won't trouble the top 5. Maybe the Strangler will be a chance to break double figures for runs/wickets against other First XI's next year, in MS of course.
