    Vista

Re: Vista That doesn't make any sense. You might be referring to hard disk or permanent storage media as the memory instead of RAM. Memory(RAM) allocated to an application is freed when you exit the application.

    Vista

Re: Vista Obviously it does, but the memory is freed when the game quits. So it doesn't make your PC slow unless you simultaneously run multiple resource hungry applications. People lacking the common sense to buy a PC according to their requirements is a different matter altogether. It doesn't...

    Vista

Re: Vista Playing games is not going to slow your PC down if it meets the recommended requirements of a game. If it does, the problem lies with the OS or the drivers.

    England In India

Re: England In India Slow going by India. Just goes to show the effect Sehwag can have. Though it has been exaggerated due to Dravid's poor form. Dravid needs to make his innings count now that he has wasted the better part of 25 overs.

Re: Vista What's wrong with playing games? If Vista can't run his games its Vista's fault rather than his.

    Vista

Re: Vista The initial reviews of Vista weren't flattering and that's why people hate Vista. While Vista is a good OS, MS screwed up by creating too many versions of Vista which also caused confusion over Vista Ready PC's.

    England In India

Re: England In India England dominated most sessions yet managed to end up on the losing side. I think Sehwag made up for it in just one session on the 4th evening. Had it not been for his innings I'm sure it would have resulted in a draw or a loss for India. Tendulkar loves this ground. I...

    England In India

Re: England In India I'm sure BCCI would be working overtime to protect their finiancial interests but the sensible decision would be to cancel the tour.

    England In India

Re: England drop Bell and Anderson I wouldn't be surprised if they leave. Two five star hotels where players and tourists generally stay are still under attack. At the very least, I'd expect the venue of the second test to be changed.

    Symonds involved in Bar Fight

Re: Symonds involved in Bar Fight I don't think Symonds is in danger. It was the guy who threw punches at Symonds. Must have been a very good impersonator then because he managed to fool Symonds himself.

    England In India

Re: England In India Not sure what England is doing out there. Flintoff or Pietersen should be batting in the powerplays. They've completely wasted it.

    England In India

Re: England In India Turns out its not so bad for India. I was expecting England would be chasing whatever India score. But they apparently need 198 according to some D/L calculations.

    England In India

Re: England In India The wicket is completely dry as it was covered but the outfield might slow down. India need 180 but thats not going to happen. They're more likely to get somewhere around 150. Good chance for England to register their first win.

    England In India

Re: England In India Play is going to resume in 30 mins. Its going to be 22 overs per side. Not good news for India.
