Well im going to stay positive despite what the stats say. Their bowlers might average between 7 and 11 with the ball , but if our bats stick to their seasons average , we get the runs .

Yet the 2 clubs playing in the DVCA grand final are the 2 clubs who fork out the least in player payments, and have the highest density of A grade players who have come from the junior playing ranks. ( From memory Diamond Creek have 10 players from their juniors, and Macleod 9 , playing the...

Don't be too harsh on em. Rumour is that Research spent half as much as Riverside for the year , yet the second most of all the Barclay sides. ( and only just managed to avoid relegation. Not too sure which would have been more embarrassing....

I don't think I could let 3 balls go by without scoring, let alone 108. I heard they were 2/7 off 27 overs at one stage. The fact they got within 20 runs was staggering.

If your seconds were any good, they would have won D Grade premiership and quite convincingly. Struggling to play finals in that grade is hardly a convincing argument for C grade promotion.

That is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard on this site. Perhaps research should just worry about winning their game to avoid relegation, rather than worrying about other results.

MAcleod wouldn't want to go into finals on the back of successive losses. Tim will be driving this into the lads this round.
