Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 2010/11
Gibbsy does get on here, but a post here and there. Not jawing off like champion when you haven't played DVCA yet. Saying "we will get the job done", i'm pretty sure thats what he has thought the last 3 years. All the Riverside boys are on here mouthing off, and...
Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 2010/11
Now Now.....play nicely you two.
Lets not go there....again.
The cricket season is fast approaching and no doubt it will be interesting to see how the four piece ball effects, if at all, the top two grades.

Re: DVCA: Player movements and rumours
Ha ha ha...I like it. I believe they are trying to set themselves up to enter Premier Cricket. Lots of rumours at premier level that a District / Premier Club will base itself in the heart of the Northern suburbs.
Re: DVCA: Player movements and rumours
I believe a few Diamond Valley Clubs had a fair crack at luring Adam Dale back to the DVCA, one club in particular was very close I hear.
Can anyone confirm the rumour?
Also Old Paradian's Bundoora have now changed their name to "Plenty Valley" I...
Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 2010/11
You can always come and play for Riverside if Flinders doesn't appreciate your batting & bowling talents.;) You wouldn't be the first Bundoora boy to take the trek down Grimshaw Street. I can see the headlines now "We've Lost Another Brad to the Clappers"...
Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 2010/11
I've made a triple century in the backyard against my three legged dog, does that make me Don Bradman? Probably not. Just Out of curiosity, was any of those illustrious 5000 runs made in A grade?
Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 2010/11
And we all know every club has a lower grade loud mouth that should know that their sledging talents far outweigh their cricketing ones.
Re: WTF? DVCA change the rules, who knew!!!
I agree.......there is currently not enough grounds to support Under 14's or 16's along with Under 12 cricket on a Friday night.
And we should never ever move under 12's Cricket from a Friday night as this would be a huge backward step for the...
Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 2010/11
Yeah I think its time we moved on from the Mud Slinging......The Riverside CC has a great respect for the Bundoora CC and both clubs have a proud history and rivalry. Similar to Collingwood & Carlton. (No Love lost though)
Although some of the posts have been...
Re: DVCA - How do we make it better - A BigCricket going forward forum
All I can say is that having four piece balls introduced into Barclay & Money Shield this season is the best thing to happen in the DVCA for some time. It will only enhance our Comp's reputation even further.
