They NEED to fix up those pink balls! They play like tennis balls after 5 overs! Too soft. They were terrible. Boundaries for first 5 overs and then the only the huge hitters can hit them after that.

Mate, I might take you up on that... With the grounds slowing remarkably, 1000 runs in 2008/09 is comparable with 800 runs in 2010/11. As such, I doubt that we will see a 1000 run season next season. I hope I'm wrong.

Perera's season of 1000 was amazing. 4 out of his first 5 games he tonned up.

Just ask McKinnon if they're allowed to rope off their ground. They have applied to the VTCA repeatedly to make their ground smaller and they have been denied every time! Permission is very rarely given. The VTCA normally only make exceptions for player safety reasons (ie so they won't be sued)...
