Every club goes through phases of strength in junior numbers but that must be a very big concern for them. Did not know how bad the situation was. No wonder they see the bigger picture in the new comp, that Senior Div team would have only had 1 player under 30 too?

Correct 3 out of those 4 grades will be playing the same clubs and with regrading, will play higher standard (eg 8 team grade of like for like standard rather than 18 team spread of good, bad and worse teams)

They're probably looking at more than just whether their First XI will win flags in the new competition.

Not sure about this notion that the new VTCA will be significantly less standard ("mediocre"), basically they've lost last year's Premiers South Caulfield (if they leave, still TBC) plus 5 south clubs who finished 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. If you listen to a club like Doutta who has come...

Could get very interesting to see who replaces them. No shortage of clubs from the VTCA. Very sad for RPB though. Always seemed such a strong off-field setup.
