Surely they can get fixtures out for divisions it doesn't effect? We are awaiting the fixture release to try and book our "main" functions so our 1sts/2nds aren't playing at greenvale or something when we have a big function. Ah well shit happens. Not long now until i get to bowl a ball in...

To be fair Qball he is mates with a few of the guys down there. Although one new player hasn't exactly made a good impression on the coach after spewing in/on his car after training (not Williams).

We did receive it about a week and a half ago. There are constitutional changes but they are minor and not really worrying about as far as i'm concerned.

I'm a simpleton but not much has really changed, i understand the whole 21 day thing but when its really such minor changes does it really matter? I'm just pumped waiting for the season to start as most of the boys are.

Would've been nice for the changes in the constitution to be highlighted in some way cause its pretty boring reading

Patty came down for one day at our final. I wouldn't of expected any north ppl down as it was a south final. I reckon McKinnon would stay up if old mentone are gone, but then that would make too sense... Bit like promoting the 4th team from south a1 ahead of Clayton or letting Hampton/bonbeach...

I agree that the rules may need tweaking but in the end they are what they are. Good venue good win.. alot of talk about numerous teams leaving the comp though. Well done to old Mentone too I think thats 3 in the last four years..

rules?? if you're talking about us batting 160+ overs well surely they should be able to bowl us out especially after taking 3 new balls... and I bet if any other team was in our position they would've done the same thing

Sledge... surely you have something better to do than constantly bag us out over something we have no control over.. Ask the Port boys and even Mentone, the wicket is ok... even for both sides and outfield is starting to improve (last two one dayers have had 300 odd runs scored for the day). Go...

As an interested onlooker that was one of the biggest 6s i think i have ever seen... i turned up to have a look ended staying the whole game.. How could i leave once he got going then once he went out, the finish was very tight.
