Rosebank will win this weekend and give themselves a chance to make it. Rivergum won't be fazed either way and will probably like a close loss to get the hunger back.
The other games apart from Lalor vs Chargers are poised for a great contest.
On a side note, congratulations to the Lalor...
Spot on FC! I said that last year on this forum and was met with fierce anger.
Even 14 two dayers with a week either side of Xmas, plus a week off at Melbourne cup or Australia Day weekend or whatever.
In my opinion this issue needs to be rectified ASAP and more consultation needs to be made...
Rivergum obviously the team to beat. Lots said about altis but hasn't done much. Great top up to an already great team though.
Lalor will be very competitive and around the mark once again.
Darebin to be better, some 'good' recruits into the team, but when it comes to two day cricket they...
Great overall display by Rivergum, a very strong team who are now set for the big dance. They have lots if depth and at very strong in all departments.
Rosebank are now set for a challenge against Lalor who just never give up. They will be hungry after last years Preliminary final loss.
As...
I think that's unfair, but I can see how the perceived bias can be formed.
According to some Rivergum boys, Todd was given out, caught behind, last year by his dad when he was clearly not out during their game.
I think it's poor by the umpires association to put both of them in that situation...
Leave the bloke alone...
There's finals on this week which is what we should chat about; not teams who've missed out, just for the point of insulting them.
Who cares about holy trinity? I wish they got relegated. They're a really rude and arrogant bunch of imbeciles who can't play cricket to save themselves!
Peppa's not only a good player but a good bloke. The bankers are just disciplined in their approach to every game.
I've said it all year, KP are unbelievably overrated. Reliant on too few. Next week will be a real barometer for them.
Lalor are just cruising along as usual but it will be a big...
So much Rosebank hate, so much Keon Park gloat... Over-rated to say the least.
Rivergum are by far the best side, depth with bat and ball.
Lalor are no pushovers. Always disregarded but very hard to beat. A group of blokes who play for each other.
Colts are a good team and have the capacity...
Well I've been saying for weeks that KP were getting rated a bit too highly for my liking. According to a few of the Lalor boys it was a good team effort by them.
Keen to see the outcomes... Any news Re:reports of ycw players?
I heard a whisper that there were five reports from the YCW v Darebin match...
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
That would've been a pretty fiery game if five went into the book!
The reason Rosebank have been so successful over such a long time, is because they don't waver from their disciplines. One day cricket isn't where they ply their trade. They'll be there in march.
Rivergum are the best side in the competition... Without question.
KP had a good weekend and...
There were a few eye opening performances this weekend.
I think rivergum and rosebank are the stand-outs, although the bankers are still heavily reliant on the 'core 4' (Dalla Riva, Tenuta, Favrin, Sampimon).
Keon park have played the bottom 3 and couldn't chase 129 against the premiers, so I...
Rosebank should make 250+ if they bat first and get the job done.
Chargers should win in a close one.
Keon park's credentials will finally be tested this week but rivergum should get up.
Lalor for me against Holy Trinity.
