Yeah g
Yeah good point... At least you can relax for one of the days though.
I suppose we can't win. I understand where you're coming from but there's improvements that could be made.
I would've personally made last week and this week a 2 dayer and played the 2 one dayers on the 13/14th of...
I wasn't saying we should have the weekend off to watch the races, it's a time when a lot of people want to get away. This makes it difficult to field sides in the lower grades.
I like your idea but not for the top grades. Maybe A & B should be 2 dayers the rest one dayers, if we just play one...
3 games in and it's a very competitive, even competition. Not much can be taken out of the one day format but it's clear to see that last years grand finalists will be up the top again.
I just want to talk about the fixture... Firstly we shouldn't play 1 dayers. Secondly, if we do then...
Every year there's always an unlikely hero... Should be a great weekend of cricket!
Rivergum would be full of confidence but you don't know what you'll get with Lalor; you can win in a day or chase 280.
Rosebank are obvious favourites but "cricket's a funny game" huge pressure on HT's bowling...
I think you're spot on about Holy Trinity very reliant on the 2 main bowlers.
Perri I think will be important for Rivergum come finals time and I'm looking for Bell to silence the critics.
Tenuta is the key for RB. He settles in and gets comfy very quickly.
Lalor appear to be chipping in all...
Who are the players to look out for this finals series?
Obviously AJ has "the runs on the board" and Slaviero is having a good year, but I was keen to get some discussion going about more in depth cricket banter rather than the shit that's been flying around.
Not much spoken about bowlers or...
What huge win by KP! From all accounts the Rosebank Boys will be doing some fielding practice this week. Great for Lalor and Rivergum with NBR needing an outright to clinch a top 2 spot.
Rivergum Dominant.
Holy Trinity as expected (same with Lalor).
It looks poised for an awesome month of...
Well there's one team who don't rely on their opening bowlers and they've taken the most wickets without going into a second innings.
Funnily enough they're on top.
Holy Trinity are an overly confident bunch, but have just begun to show cracks.
I don't care if you're on a 5c piece, 290 is a big score to chase!
Guys get on here and talk about rivergum being a one man band but if Pettolino and Slaviero don't take wickets, HT don't win!
Great effort by...
I think Rivergum & RB are the teams to beat but as you said depth is required. It's shaping up to be a very exciting couple of months for the nmca!
