The clubs that wouldnt survive are the ones that have no juniors & after a few years of the relegation system having its way, they wont be playing in a true west group. Personally i like the relegation system.......;-)

Surely most clubs have had their AGMs, so why would it be kept a secret? Apart from a few larger clubs in wdca, none of the rest would last 5 years in the vtca!

wouldnt think so, but ive heard theres 8 new clubs for the lower grades to contend with???

It can be more of an advantage gaining extra bonus points than percentage..... especially 2nd innings'. e.g if you make 8/100 in 2nd dig, your bonus points for making 100 stand, but for losing 8 wickets you lose nothing as you would compared to if you played percentage, your hundred runs would...

we used to have bonus point system in WDCA, it was great fun having to go out & bowl 25 overs on a hot day when you'd already been beaten on a 1st innings = JOKE! It clearly is a crap system & nobody in VTCA lkes it but they dont care what their clubs think, they're just a number!!
