Ingram isn't playing at Plenty next year apparently which would leave room for Pradeep.
Gilmour is a mid 20's left arm opening bowler who played at Ringwood and played a few games for Victoria a few seasons ago. To my knowledge played in SA this year. He would be a great pick up and can bat a...
No real surprises will the award winners.
Well done to everyone who received an award.
Damien Fleming was fantastic.
Subbies once again delivered a good night!
Every year on here there is speculation that Sheeds is on the move and every year it is proven wrong. I haven't heard anything and with other developments at the club I would be extremely surprised if he was to move on but we will have to wait and see.
Tell you what am I sick of reading about covers and curators especially ones from the VTCA! WHO GIVES A FLYING? There are two ripping Grand Finals this weekend and you are continually talking about pointless crap!
Back to the cricket and the VSDCA big match ups all round this weekend obviously. You would think Plenty, Caulfield and Werribee would get through but the close one for me is Bayswater v Oakleigh. I'm backing the Oak's to win away from home. Werribee v Oakleigh and Plenty v Caulfield would be a...
I agree and also with the greatest respect to John Craig but as Westland also mentioned, its a name that is widely recognised and something that people can also relate back to. It has sparked a lot of talk at my club and I'm at a few others also.
While I'm at it would like to congratulate the...
What are people's thoughts on the changes to the awards in the VSDCA? I must say I don't think it was totally necessary. I have been told that the subbies have done this before and change these awards a bit but I feel as if we have lost something with these changes.
Congrats to Plenty Valley on the Club Championship and also to Oakleigh who I believe have made their 13th straight finals appearance in the 1's, unbelievable effort!
Interesting in the East/West with Werribee losing their last two matches to Oakleigh and Bayswater with two huge collapses with...
Pritchard with another 5 wicket haul, takes his season tally to 39. What a pick up he has been. Going to be a good test for Werribee to see whether or not they can chase down 250+ against a quality bowling line up.
What an unbelievable season Sean Ayres is having! Surely he will win the Hatch Medal with a record number of votes. 670 runs and 28 wickets with two games to go.
Surely the subbies website should have more about the T20 final and semi final on it than it does. At least a scorecard or top performances. Pretty poor really considering there are no mycricket stats.
I'm going to have to agree. Its a summer sport, hydrate before the game, drinks every 15 overs and nobody will complain with drinks being run out in between that, we are men playing a man's game and from time to time its going to get hot, so be it!
As has been previously stated the CV Pathway is of course a far greater standard than Hatch but Hatch is equally as far ahead of the VMCU carnivals. The Hatch is a better comp than the Jim Beitzel comp and it is a year behind in terms of age. Many kids I coached last year in Hatch went on to...
Having played Hatch for 2 years and now coached hatch for two years I believe it is a fantastic competition and I think if you asked all the kids who participated in the carnival this year that'd think the same.
The kids were rapt every time they got to run out on our main oval and really...
Should be recognised on here the great achievement of Darren Scott playing his 300th game this weekend. A great bloke and a great of this competition. Had 8 years at Williamstown and won 8 Club Champion's and has had 14 fantastic seasons at Coburg also, good luck Scotty!
Altona knocked us off by 3 runs. Maynard made a classy 50 for them and our guest player, former player and current Melbourne 2nds and 3rds player James Gillard got 59.
