Good idea but how do they structure the finals as you'd need extra weeks to fit them in... Take games away from the regular season?? Which would be easy in c3 as they are all 1 day games maybe a 2 day grand final in c1 to fit it in? Vtca are very reluctant for change though...

How do you think old mentonians will go? They play good boring 2 day cricket don't take many risks post decent totals and have a decent bowling attack. Will be interesting to see if that stands up in the higher grade

Hey SS this is somewhat relevant to your club as you guys are playing so many one dayers and you have an insight into the vtca exec. How have they come up with the rule that the second ball passing down leg side in any over is a NO BALL not just a wide ??

Surely has to be a mistake if its real they've just changed one of the rules of cricket... I dont think too many bowlers mean to bowl down leg on purpose so being a NO BALL is a very harsh rule.

Firstly let me declare my bias I play for parky just not in the 1s... Yes on paper port would win but they are notorious for failing with the bat in finals and parkdales bowling is definitely there strength so you have to give them a chance.
