    South Division 10/11

re: South Division 10/11 I wonder if Roach ever kept to Hewitt in a state game. You're right, to have two ex-Victorian players in the VTCA this season is great for the comp.

    VTCA Cricket - General Chat

Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat I know what you are saying, but the flip side is clubs with multiple imports might be forced to play some kids to fit under the 54 point limit.

    South Division 2009/10

Re: South A & B Good point. I don't know what Bentleigh are paying those two, but I would assume they don't come cheap. But who knows. I've heard around the traps that Roach doesn't take any crap, so a few of the Bentleigh pretty boys might be in for a tough pre-season.

    South Division 2009/10

Re: South A & B I agree in relation to developing juniors, but if the Southern clubs want to compete with the Northern teams in Senior division, they need to get talented players from outside their own club into their teams. And the first step for a club like Bentleigh to even get...

    South Division 2009/10

Re: South A & B Looks like Bentleigh have picked up some talent. According to their website, they have signed former Victorian wicketkeeper Peter Roach as captain for the next 2 years, and Ryder medallist Chris Street for 2 years. PETER ROACH SIGNS WITH BENTLEIGH

Possible breakup of Senior A into North & South divisions

Re: Possible breakup of Senior A into North & South divisions Heard from a reasonable source that with Senior A gone, that the new North A and South A divisions will only be 8 teams. Each team will play each other once in a two-day match, and once in a one-day match.

    VTCA Thread

Re: VTCA Thread Boundaries??? If you mean varying length of boundaries each week you obviously haven't played at Arthur Street. I am assuming that as soon as a club puts in a protest, they are labelled a whinging, squabbling, cheat of a club even if the protest is upheld. I would...

Re: DVCA Money Shield Well now that we have ended Mill Park's finals ambition whats next down at the stables?Heard they may need to do some more recruiting as a one or 2 could be unhappy and looking for a game closer to home.

    VTCA Thread

Re: VTCA Thread Yeah, that would be the reason why Cheltenham won last round, nothing to do with the fact that Bentleigh dropped 6 catches and weren't good enough to defend 227 against a team who's previous highest score this season was 190 after having them 6-141. I would have thought...

    DVCA Money Shield

Re: DVCA Money Shield Is that the problem down there playing to many bowlers? I know Stewart best bat at the club. Murcott and Groom potential but no runs yet. Thomas probably second leading run scorer but they are all allrounders maybe need to play more genuine batters not relying on...

    DVCA Money Shield

Re: DVCA Money Shield Looking at their 2's score I believe only player pushing for a spot would be kirkovski and Joel O'Reilly back into the team. Meaning probably Taylor and Argent out. Bear would like to hear about your dismissal heard you could not resist with 8 bowls left in the day.
