sreesanth was run out 2 years or so ago because he made his ground with his bat and his feet were in the air and he lost connection with the bat and was givin out because he had "left" his ground...

well mainly I have a long on, silly mid off, cover-point, extra cover, 1st slip, deep backward square, keeper (no brainer), midwicket, short leg, and the last fielder gets moved around a fair bit, like for my top spinner i'll bring him in to short mid on around 2 balls...

ahh the backspinner is something i have a pretty good grip of, i sometimes pull them out of the bag with out knowing... they can really mess with the batsmen...
by the way, when i bowl to some of the top order first graders they say i get a fair bit of movement with...

yeah I've often come in handy in the late overs cause with an older ball i can keep the turn going at the same amount but it also drifts 3-4 inches...

one thing that may help you I was told to think Up so instead ripping down on the ball as hard as you can try and spin the ball up...

mine was very similar to your only i didn't bowl a spell early, i came on in the 34th over of a 40 over and the first ball i bowled i put in a top spinner and got a thick edge to the keeper, then i bowled a maiden and the in my last we needed two wickets and they needed 4...

One thing that works for me is to bowl flatter and quicker to try and force them onto the back foot, if there still going after you then try more flight, get it right up above their eyeline this also gets more turn on the ball so you can rip through them. But a first...

you can develope more ways than one to bowl "the one that goes the other way" it's just about it being comfortable and it working whilst being legal...

but that's just it we have time to think about what we want to do and where we want it to land, cause were not just charging in and firing it down as quick as possible (very anti pace) so we can formulate a strategy, instead of just a pattern...
