Best / Worst places to shop for your cricket gear?

Re: Best / Worst places to shop for your cricket gear? I was gonna say don't shop at A-mart, but Im sort of making an assumption. I will agree in Rebel, but to overpriced. For me, I like Meulemans and Slater-Gatrell, they're the best specialist cricket stores in the Perth area

    Edladd's Blog

Re: Edladd's Blog Hmm, you may have a point mas. The adults at my club are pretty crazy about training. They go Tuesday, Thursday as well as Saturday morning. Also during the winter some play indoor. Quite amazing, considering these guys are past their prime and have other lives. Great blokes...

    Jonesy's Blog.

Re: Jonesy's Blog. Yeah, the U/17's (my team) train with the adults. Should be good as they seem like a pretty strong team and committed. The only problem is when they wan't to play 'shirts' vs 'skins' rugby, not nice.

    Aussie Spin Rookies

Re: Aussie Spin Rookies Krejza is a Tasmanian offie. Aggresive, gives the ball flight but hasn't got the best State record. Picked for experience, I'm guessing. That and he is better than Beau Casson (not sure if that is a compliment) Bryce McGain is the next Colin "Funky" Miller (I hope)...

    AFL

Re: AFL I just think because the game was dead and buried. I don't think Clarkson would've flooded if the game was sewn up in a nice neat little package. But if Fev is good enough, he will do it next year. Although no doubt in my mind that Buddy will as well

Re: Is SKY TV's coverage all that it's cracked up to be? Yeah, but the old folks won't buy it! I try to get to my mates place whenever I can, just so I can watch the cricket

Is SKY TV's coverage all that it's cracked up to be?

Re: Is SKY TV's coverage all that it's cracked up to be? Yeah, but the second it heads overseas (2005 Ashes notwithstanding) it isn't on 9. Thats why I wish I had Foxtel

    AFL

Re: AFL Shame that Fev missed out. In my opinion, he deserved the 100. Too bad the Hawks flooded the back line, if I was Clarkson I would've given him the ton.

Should Cricket be in the Olympics

Re: Should Cricket be in the Olympics I don't think it would be good because, like someone wrote, the Olympics just wouldn't be the pinnacle for players. Most would prefer (I assume) to win the Ashes, World Cup, or similar competitions.
