    T20 at the Olympics.

Re: T20 at the Olympics. Well a good reason from the Olympics point of view is it could get the sub continental countries into it. At the Athens Olympics, only one medal was won (a silver) from there, and the sub continent holds a fifth of the worlds population.

    AFL

Re: AFL Yeah, but you have a bit of an invested interest, don't you? Although that said, so do I. Personally I think it is impossible to compare any past teams, the game just changes far to much in between great teams.

    AFL

Re: AFL Believe what you want to believe. Jeez, it was a pretty close call for you guys against Melbourne, could've been trouble there :p

    Muralitharan v Warne v Kumble.

Re: Muralitharan v Warne v Kumble. Its definitly out of Murali and Warne. Murali has such a great character and picks up bags of wickets. He isn't as daring as I would like though. Warne has such a great cricketing mind and uses that to get wickets. For me Warne would just pip Murali out...

    South Africa tour England

Re: South Africa tour England Freddie just showed why Test cricket rules all other forms. Where can you find that in the shorter formats, its just not the same. Great stuff Freddie, keep it up

    India in Sri Lanka

Re: India in Sri Lanka Well actually Arjuna Ranatunga said it, but it was probably a fair comment. India hadn't played a Test in a while

    Slower balls

Re: Slower balls When I was bowling pace, my slower ones would be the old splayed finger trick, as used by Dilhara Fernando. My other one was instead of using the normal grip, first and second fingers, I used the second and third finger. I also tried it with my ring and little finger once and...

    Batting Help

Re: Batting Help Well done mate. In the context of the match, the pace you went at didn't matter a pip, 174 off 50 overs isn't that big, so it was probably better that you went slow rather than blitzing and suffer a collapse. But great job, keep up the form

    India in Sri Lanka

Re: India in Sri Lanka Yah, wrapped up nice and tight. Murali with 11 and Mendis got 8. India were pretty abysmal, suffered their 3rd largest defeat. Hopefully Sri Lanka can push on and wrap up the series nice and tight

    India in Sri Lanka

Re: India in Sri Lanka Well I guess ideally India wouldn't be 9 down for not many chasing 600. Your probably right, he should have tried to guard the tail better. But still full credit to him to show some ticker. Shame it isn't going to help as India are going to go down by an innings from the...

    India in Sri Lanka

Re: India in Sri Lanka Come on, thats a bit harsh. He was the only Indian batsmen who actually showed some application. The rest, bar Sachin and Dravid, threw their wicket away stupidly. Well India are following on after a spin master class from Mendis and Murali. 64th 5-for for him and he may...

    AFL

Re: AFL Haha, Chris Judd can't do a lot at the moment. His groin injury seems to still be there and he is a shadow of his former self, footy wise. I remember when that happened, the commentators were saying something about a concussion test, then as soon after he kicks a goal then another...

    India in Sri Lanka

Re: India in Sri Lanka Although this game will most likely be a draw, the Indians confidence would also have taken a massive hit EDIT: Maybe not, I thought it was the fourth day not the third. 2 days to get 14 wickets, should be possible with Murali and Mendis on a wearing pitch

    This boy is special

Re: This boy is special Looks great for him. But why was his Dad bowling round the wicket. Seemed a bit strange to be honest. The pick up over the keeper was especially funny. This was last year and still very good: YouTube - Rachin at the cricket academy as a 6 year old
