I happen to be a believer in free speech. I might not agree with what you are saying, but I will defend until death your right to say it. Your comment and others ,"All we argue is a few rule tweaks" is a threat to the 80 over game in it's current form. Unfortunately you and a few others can't...
Do you mean teams or clubs? Certainly there are reasons for dropping off as you put it, valid or invalid depending on one's view point. It's important to find out why. Once the why is known then it is possible to remedy the cause of there consternation. (Mental confusion) Do you know why they...
So your an " everywhere man". Vtca, Premier, subbies, overseas, vtca. Where to next as it appears you're just visiting this time round? However before you leave on your next jaunt you'll stir the opossum and agitate for a rule change of an occasional one-day game in a two-day competition.
Batsmen...
In answer to your post 210 Redefine what do you think of the above post where 2blues stated and I quote "which I have played a few"? Is that accurate or is he all piss and wind?
I agree Southern. For Daleshack, Redefine and 2blues to claim their is alot of support for one-day restrictions is just alot of frothing at the mouth. I'd suggest their would be less than 5% of the association that would go for it. If those three had vaginas they would be very lonely in the...
Yeah great post 2blues. Especially from someone whom has played in one association to another seemingly unable to settle on a club. Yet you found your way back to the vtca. Do you think you'll stay this time RED DOG?
Redefine, Daleshack and 2bluesboss, by introducing one-day restrictions will only encourage myopes like you guys to surreptitiously seek the fixturing of more one-day games during the season regardless of weather conditions. Then you'll want trophies issued by the vtca, then you'll want a...
As a bowler ,why should you be penalised for being fit enough to bowl half the overs. Batsmen can bat the entire game. As you well know the vtca is a two-day turf comp, not a one-day comp. The fact we play one day is mostly due to weather conditions which interupt the two-day fixture.
Yep, and batsmen only allowed to hit one 4 in an over. One 6 every 4 overs and when given out come down the pitch and congratulate the bowler before sucking the umpires icy pole and leaving the ground with a contented look on their face.
