Young blokes can get the same injury as well. Sam Lalor severely damaged his hammy diving on player on the boundary line in a AFL match earlier this year. As long as his old man legs can hold up then why not? This unfortunately is his second serious soft tissue injury in a row in an ashes series so whether his body can hold up in a young man's sport for another 3 to 4 year is the question.
