If this happened it is a disgrace. We all knew the rain was coming and I am sure everyone would have liked to start early to try and beat it. What were the umpires doing at the game? Surely they can't have allowed it?? Luckily it wont affect finals as Tulla lost and actually cost themselves...

But how far will the vtca go?? So does EVERY semi & grand final get security guards? I bet not!! Look i understand the senior division is the pinnacle of the comp. But there is very good cricket played throughout north & south divisions played by quality teams...

I am sure there is going to be a lot of talk about this game (or lack of!!) in the coming days. Fact is that the pitch at werribee was wet and unplayable on saturday morning. The reason for this is why the match in being disputed.

I really worry about them. The rumour was that towards the end of the year they were struggling to get 2 teams up & running and some calls were made to players that had retired to help the club out. While I would be suprised if they folded, I really can't see them...
