Yeah have read it... reckon it's the best way to go...

wouldn't be the first time they have dobbed a club in..... remember a few years back when West Coburg we cruising they waited 5 rounds before dobbing us in....costing us finals for the year

Well if St Mary's played an unregistered player they have to lose the points... same happened to us ( WEST COBURG B TURF ) and we missed finals by 2 points... even if it is an honest mistake they're the rules.... will be intersting to see what the outcome is....

Cheers Bonesaw, yeah suppose we are unlucky to miss finals after winning 8 consecutive games.... we reckon we may have given it a good shake if we made it... but rules are rules, even if they are as harsh as these were for an oversight on our clubs behalf... guess it will just make the boys...

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2010/11 Reports I have heard is Round 1 turf has already been called off by council due to wickets being under prepared due to the state of the griounds after footy. Round 2 may also be in doubt

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2010/11 looking at some of the wickets this week, chances of polaying round 1 very slim.... Morris Reserve will be out of action for months as a new wicket table is being constructed and looks like it is way behind due to the wet weather

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2010/11 Don't write off the Redbacks this early, the loss of Appleyard will hurt, but with Barker returning to add to the bowling stocks and some youngsters stepping up the Redbacks will suprise a few sides this year.
