Spot on Draught, they are so far inferior to the Kookaburra that they should be 20% of the price. Platypus are now produced in China and shipped to Australia in pieces where they are assembled. The cuts to the leather are not made by machine, but by hand which you can clearly tell, the colour is...

Jealousy is an ugly colour on you Hendo. For what its worth, we respect Mernda a great deal and have had good battles with them over the years, you may well have watched a couple of them if the 3rds finished early. All the best mate.
Thats good to hear because we finished 5th last season so clearly not elite. Although I'm not sure many people know or care that Mernda are in Barclay Shield.
Not sure if you have said where you play but I know who you are and I know you play at Mernda. Deny all you like.
Anyway - not sure...
Im not sure how the previous message constitutes bullying, but if you are that fragile then so be it.
The fact that you tried to pass yourself off as an Eltham players speaks volumes for your character, and if your opinion is that we are flogs and think we are elite I dont particularly care...
The post was removed because it was aimed in the wrong direction!! My bad, I assumed that someone posting on here under the name of a former player would actually be from that Club. But thanks to an inbox message I received, apparently Jason Henderson (the one on here taking pot shots at most...
Who knows, if we didnt give our bats a good hit in those games we might have lost another game and not even been in finals contention.
Frayne isnt worth giving the ball to, apparently got hit around by one of the worst bats and blokes in the valley in a pre season game and never recovered...
The follow on rule is 80 runs so we didnt declare, once the other results were known it was just having a crack with 20 overs to go really.
On your earlier comment, how is giving your best bats time in the middle going against team achievements, if anything it helps the team by playing guys...
Ordinarily I'd be the first to get involved in a Lower Eltham bashing for a bit of fun, but the fact that the comment came from a bloke who has left his Money Shield club in the lurch this season after talking it up all off-season doesnt sit well, maybe concentrate on keeping Eltham's 1st's out...
Your exact words were 'what are we here for?? to not play?' so you have contradicted yourself, you'd be a great politician.
Anyway, enough of this, good point by Poy.....I mean Opener2, that had Lower Eltham not played on in a couple of games last year, they may not have made the finals and...
harry2bob, please refer to your post at the bottom of the page of the below link, then please stop posting, you are contradicting yourself and are looking foolish, especially rich coming from your club with a chequered past...
I would have thought that every team expects to be in the field for 80 overs in every game unless you bowl them out, being a crap team that can't bat your 80 shouldnt mean you get off with only having to field for 55 overs. I really can't understand the fuss, I would have no issue if Lower...
In Premier cricket the game can only be called off in the final hour if both captains agree so they play almost all of the overs in every game, in VTCA teams play until 6:00pm no matter what the situation in a match, so in reality what Lower Eltham did was no different.
Saying that a team...
