well done to wodonga. won a hard grand final, low scores can be dangerous. for what its worth, i didnt think it was a fizzer game, i was only there the first day but i thought wodong bowled really well but i didnt think lavi through there wickets away, wodonga were just to good. and by the sound...
wow very well written. max props for getting on here, telling your side of the story and not kicking into new city. are you still playing for new city as a player? good on you dyls very respectful
Interesting to see you think belvoir will finish 5th after winning the grand final and picking up and irish guy after losing dylan wright? a win win if you ask me which will make us better. why do you say the three best teams from last year wodonga belvoir and tallangatta will all scrap into...
I have herd that st pats are still recruiting from within the league and a few of their former juniors are not happy about it cos it means they may miss out on a 1st or 2nd grade spot. interestesing to hear that james sammon has gone there. not sure if it is true but if it is then there is him...
I agree stumps flying, surely everyone would improve by playing with and againts the imports, i no i learnt alot from jack holt by just watching him bat and bowl in the nets. nodoubt all our senior cricketers learnt from him. and by our guys going over and playing over there is going to make us...
All these imports are really good for the competition, i wonder how the rep side is going to be picked cos you could nearly just pick all imports to represent the comp. id like to start the debate about the imports, is it worth having them. personally i say yes. our pom last year was an awesome...
we do have insentives for all of our players like 50$ for 50s and 100$ for 100s etc. i can only guess that a couple of our higher profiled recruits over the last 3-4 years may get paid but i dont no. the coaching position would be paid but i would be very surprised if it was anywhere near 15000$
we thought alex popko was on alot of money when he gets paid 7000$ a year to play at albury. but now east albury are paying dylan weeding 15000$ for two years of coaching. this is rediculous. why would any club pay money for cricket?
its interesting that you cant spell your name right jaenschy. but your right, i wish we could concentrate on ourselfs and not dribble on here. every club has problems but recently its been our guys that post sh!t on here and its not doing our club any good. if you have a problem, speak to the...
i think the deal has been done. i think he has singed at new city as coach. i havent got 100 percent confirmation from our pres or mick russell but i think hes going.
well well well, didnt want to say i told you so, but we were always very confident we were the best side. it was good to see all the a grade boys a tight team take it to everyone in the comp. just shows what good people in a good club can do. with a good young team there is a really probablity...
I wonder how many people outside of us wouldve tipped us to make it to the grand final? i dont think to many wouldve. hopefully a big crown is there.
one little point, and im not trying to start truble but would you call tallangattas season a success? to be bundled out the way they did? and if...
im not sure about one dayers for kids coming through. we all like it cos its a hit and giggle and its over in a day. but for a kid coming through they may bat way down the order and only face oveers 45-50 and have to slog which isnt good for there development and may only bowl 1-2 overs if they...
i no that a mate of mine plays for the seconds at lavi and apparently your seconds captain gave them the option of not playing the second day? wich says to me that it was too wet to play on/bowl on. what do you have to say about that. please tell us why that within 4 weeks of cricket, your pitch...
Just another point on north albury. apparently the next game at bunton north seconds batted day 1 and lavington batted day 2 on a wet pitch too! cheats.
both teams are very unhappy, both wanted to play on and get extra points but the umpires pulled the stumps up and called the game over. it wasnt even 40 degrees, something needs to happen, the points could be needed since the ladder is so close. disgusting by the umpires really.
no sure about...
