Re: 2XI APS Cricket
CAULFIELD VS GEELONG
Caulfield batted first and lost early wickets despite a strong runrate to be 5-54 after ten. Then Leigh Iacavangelo and Adam Trytell put on a show with 100* and 75*. 5-240
Geelong never really looked in it and crumbled to 10-124
Re: Best APS fielders
yeh tillys arm is lethal, one game against a school from pommyland, 8 overthrows in 5 balls, and then another one a couple of overs later. Good throws but
Re: APS- 3rd's Competition (Super 3's)
Caulfield thirds are "up to the challenge" despite the loss of their skipper who has been forced down into the 2s for the next match. Some strong bowling and batting mixed with a hell alot of arse could see them pull off the greatest win since the Americas Cup
Re: 2XI APS Cricket
Caulfield 2nds are doing alright this year accounted for Wesley, BGS, Geelong College?, Scotch and only copped defeats from Skevs, MGS, Scotch
Re: Best Keeper??
unfortunately he doesnt have much pressure on him, cos the seconds keeper whilst on fire behind the stumps needs to improve his batting, having said that he took 5 catches and made 25 yesterday
Re: Geelong Colleges Recent Form
t-bone that is not really the topic of conversation on this thread, im actually glad to see people discussing players and teams and not have it be about the premiership, yes we know haileybury are good but please let us discuss other teams without having to...
Re: APS Up and comers
Caulfield have got 3 year 10s
Rowan Jayaweera an Opening Bat who looks to have it all going for him now hes back from overseas can also bowl quite fast for a small bloke, a few years could see him turn into a valuable weapon
Robbie Handel and Lloyd Everitt both fast...
Re: APS Practice Matches
i am all for scholarships if they do what they are invented to do, give talented people a chance for education they couldnt otherwise afford. I feel sorry for the boys at haileybury that love cricket, love their school and are talented but due to the scholarship filled...
Re: No Olympics cricket: thanks, ICC
the problem is that some teams wont be able to compete, the West Indies would have to be the different countries and as such wouldnt stand a chance and the english side would have to play as the UK. And it should be noted that there was once Cricket at the...
Re: Retirements exposes youngsters - 2007-08 Test Squad
i actually have it on good authority that the selectors dont want MacGill for various reasons, not sure if its White instead but i doubt he'll play more than 5 more tests if any
Re: Windies The Best Team
Lets Compare the players
Langer and Hayden VS Haynes and Greenidge
Probably have to give a the edge to the Windies here if only stats wise as their opening combo have been the most successful...Langer and Hayden were Second though so not much difference...

Re: APS Best Lunches
I'll Listen to swans and you all should to. He is nthe expert on these sorts of things.....possibly the most commited person at each match when it comes to lunch. First one in Last one out......What an inspiration! If he says brighton then noone correct him.
Carey Girl
Id just like to be the first one to congratulate the girl from Carey who, if she was selected and i believe that was a near certainty, is going to be the first girl to play 1st XI cricket in the APS. To make the Ones in year nine is an amazing effort for anyone, but for a girl to...
