Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
I take it you are talking about Naps/sebas 2nds who choked last three games of the year? Unlucky but the winner is the team who plays the best cricket from October to March.....not February.

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Yep good effort by the Ballarat boys to win it. Now imagine what might have happened if the 'A' bowlers were playing. Throw Johnson, Blake, Kentish, and Cape into the mix and it wouldn't be a bad team.

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Simon Allan with 43 wickets has to be the favourite and he wouldn't of had that many votes taken off him by Ball-Redan teamates.
Pyke & Miller from Wendouree will be in the mix.
Lincoln Blake will poll well early for the mounties but will have a lot of mid...
Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
I agree Don, If it was all done a bit more professionally then the right coach/team/and results would be achieved.
Also the blokes who are lucky enough to be picked should be rapped as its an honour to play in the best team from your city. Would you happen...
Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Saw the country week sqaud on th Courier website today, and I see that they did make Brett Jones captain of the team, is he related to the very ordinary coaches Huntly and Collins? He must be because there is no way you would make a player that bad captain of...
Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Good cards weather on the weekend lads they tell me!! 34 degrees and hot over here if that was any consolation.
Whats that do to the finals chances of a few sides?
Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
MacGill is a good spinner but doesn't apply the constant pressure like Warne does.
Can I remind you of the series in Australia against India 2 years ago when with no Warnie or Pidgeon we got smashed and could only draw the series 1-1. Sure with good young...
Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Sad day for Cricket in general with the retirement of Warnie. Watching a test match will just not be the same. Australia are in for a few hidings without him.
