Definitely a long road back to getting a healthy calf and achilles back guys. Certainly something that I've known about for a long time thru my work, but it's another story when it's your own leg. The typical time for return to sport is around 9 months...

Expect Paull to drop down the grades when son Jack is ready to play fourths. 'Bout 10 years left for opposition sides to work out how to consistently nullify him.

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
I wasn't aware of opposition teams having to pay a fee at St.Pats when playing against Mt.Clear. If that is true I am enlightened and certainly surprised that this has been the case.
Having said that, there is some historical perspectives to take into...

Where does Gilligan (Jeff Rieniets) rate in this list. There was a couple of years there in the mid to late 90's that Harwood and Rieniets went on a terrorising rampage in the competition. I was lucky enough to only have to face Harwood but sitting at short...

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Mt. Clear home by 2 runs. What a game of cricket. Tense, hard fought, seemed pretty fair watching from the boundary and a close finish. Not good for the heart rate and definitely not a relaxing afternoon, but a real buzz at the end of the game. Another one...

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Faulkhead, Walter or Banwell didn't play in round 1. So would be fair to say that the Naps batting line up will be a bit more secure than the 140 odd they made back then. Lot of cricket been played since then, so recent form much more relevant.

Bit of an activity in visualisation and common sense:
"Imagine you are playing a cut-throat semi final..... your young team is competing hard but need ongoing spurring on...... what do you say?..... nothing?..... hope not...... encourage the bowler...

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Clearly not a big fan of Mt.Clear thickedge! Will just have to live with the underdog tag by the looks of your assessment. Think we'll find that the final is a pretty competitive match up.

Re: Ballarat Cricket Association
Well, we're back to where we started, with the last time Naps/Sebas and Mt.Clear met being in round 1. Close to impossible to read anything into that game because it was so early in the season and most players take a few games to work into the season. Looks...
