End of the day you can say what you want, Pendles still at the club and Farmer returned from injury playing 1-2 games in the 2’s before going back to the 1s.
I’d be really keen to learn about what makes a club well run? Perhaps you could use your own club as an example? Always open to learning...
What’s the benefit of a one day competition?
IMO, Less opporunity with shorter overs and ultimately kids coming through the lower grades should be experiencing two day cricket with the view of playing at a higher level at some point.

Surely following the Cricket Australia recommendation is the appropriate process to take?
I know it’s hard that your Parkers miss out champ but I would have thought somebody of your standing within the association would be more switched on!
Pretty much all other cricket has been called off...
Apparently DVCA are still planning on playing their games however if anything changes both teams will be awarded the premiership as joint winners...
In terms of promoting teams, they will only promote one team, that will be the team that finished higher on the ladder.

Not all clubs might be “North Alphington” but all clubs have a significant number of schools around them in the city of Darebin, 46 to be exact...
During the nmca meetings with clubs, perhaps the Comp could share best practices from some of the “bigger” clubs, that would be a good start...
You are correct in saying umpire and the junior coordinator role are critical but so is the competition having a clear strategy and 5 year plan...
Another issue you might want to consider is that the junior competition is pretty much made up of only 4 main clubs; Rosebank, Holy Trinity, North...
Good on them they’ve come up and take the Comp on! Let’s wait and see what happens after Christmas.... That’s when the contenders will step ahead of the rest
