I reckon 6 points in either of the last two games would’ve helped more than the percentage. Strange tactics from a club that likes to let everyone know they are winners. Should be an exciting off season. I’d imagine they won’t be inactive in their list build.

Would have been worse if Rosebank hadn’t played for percentage the last three weeks. What a farce.

I think HT already have an U16 team in the ECA don’t they? I don’t think the NMCA even have U16s?

I think they also have the issue of their clubs being poor. Not all of them, but lots of them. Get the feeling some of the clubs/players left that are decent are getting a bit fed up with being involved in the competition. If something isn’t done then whatever is left will leave anyway.

Then CV/CA should stump up and help them. Not force them onto a competition that doesn’t want them and in turn making that competition farcical.

They can merge with the NWCA then. DVCA should pick the bones (HT and Rivergum) out of it and leave the rest to someone else. Not worth it.

I know you don’t mean it in this way, but everyone should be worried about the NMCA. Worried about its future. Time for the DVCA to rescue Rivergum and Holy Trinity, make it 30 teams, and put an end to the misery. They’d both be good additions and would strengthen the DVCA across the board.

It’s just plain embarrassing now how this comp is run.
