Re: APS Season 09/10
was a terrible performance in the praccy from skevs though, never looked like winning the game, which is what you aim to do, its fine to get 190 if your chasing 189 but if your chasing 250 thats not good enough
Re: Xavier premiers
who the hell are you mate, he has played in an aps premiership, you might play for indivdual glory but at xavier we play for team success (premierships)
Re: Best Sledging Side in the APS
talent is one thing, being able to put it into performances is another. but there is no doubt carey's performances havent done their team justice.
Re: School Cheersquads and Spirit
what does that have to do with anything, in the 150 strong xavs at the xc vs skc game there were max 20. borders, still would have outnumbered skevs massively
Re: Official APS Side HOT off the Press , some surprises!!
clancey shouldnt bat ahead of coleman, coleman has made several scores this year including a 60 and was looking soild against xavier (best attack in aps) before he 'threw it away'
Re: Next Year
Next years ladder:
1. Xavier
2. Caulfield
3. Scotch
4. MGS
5. BGS
The main contenders are xavier, caulfield, scotch and melbourne, and with the amount of experience they have bgs will have a much better year next year
Re: Next Year
fair comments, however for xavier you have left off the list, two bowlers (who are also handy with the bat) who have played every game this year hannan (aps team) and frawley
Re: Official APS Side HOT off the Press , some surprises!!
he is magic for the opposition because of the number of byes he lets through and, throws the willow discribes his batting very well, he throws his bat at the ball and rarely connects and when he does it usually comes off the edge and...
Re: Best Bowler In The Competition
sure, no one disputes that but the question is who has been the best bowler in the aps this year and that has definitly been hannan
Re: Official APS Side HOT off the Press , some surprises!!
superb batting order if you have curtain at 8 and coleman dnb
my order would be:
1. Bett (vc)
2. Ryan
3. Graham
4. Curtain
5. Loorham (wk)
6. McMillian (c)
7. O Sullivan
8. Gotch
9. Coleman
10. Clancey
11. Hannan...
Re: Official APS Side HOT off the Press , some surprises!!
Curtain deserves his spot, he has been rewarded for two great seasons in a row. what are keath's stats for this season?
Re: Next Year
Highlighted by the APS team of the year, which contains 3 year 11's, two of which are from xavier. Xavier will be strong again next year.
