One round gone. Endeavour Hills and Moorabbin gone. Oakleigh, Caulfield , Ormond and Noble Park probable finalists. Brighton and Malvern look to have improved. Elsternwick and Croydon will struggle. Hard to assess some of the east teams. EARLY CALL - finalists - Oakleigh, Caulfield, Ormond...
Again the strength of South came through.9th premiership in 10 years. And in the 2's . Huge step for other sections. Watched a bit of 2nd's cricket and depth in South is huge, If ever sections then at the moment would be the 7 South sides with Plenty Valley,Brunswick and Bayswater.
Must admit that I am not a big fan of sides losing a final and still continuing. Much prefer Premier system of 1v8 etc and lower ranked side has to win. Maybe 16 team divisions and a top 8.Brighton 4th's finished 4th got flogged week ! then played in semi final.

Will be interesting to see how Subbies deliberate on Monday night to determine Caulfield's opponent. Would be surprised if results are changed and feel Box Hill probably best equipped to test Caulfield'
Massive last round in SE. 2nd v 3rd. 4th v 5th. 6rh playing last years premier and 7th v 8th. Only Caulfield safe and assured of home final. Great comp this year in SE apart from Moorabbin and Endeavour Hills who have really struggled.
Probably need to look a bit at internal development Caulfield 4th's 10/23 and in reply Oakleigh 1/200+. Also a worry with Elsternwick forfeiting 4th's .
