Re: Off Spinning Guide
Yeah, I've found that if I try to vary my bowling too much I don't bowl as well. Bowling Off break after Off break as long as its consistent can be a very effective way of bowling.
Doosras and Wrong uns etc. aren't necessary If you have a consistent Stock Delivery
Re: Action fallen apart
There was a tear in one of my tendons and i couldn't move my elbow properly during those 3 weeks.
My elbow is fine now.. feels great.. just idk why it's had an affect on my action.
ill get a vid of it soon
Action fallen apart
Never have i faced this problem,
But i injured my elbow playing footy a month ago and since coming back into cricket my bowling action has gone funky.
My arm doesn't change in anyway until it goes past my ear.. and then my elbow seems to buckle slightly and then...
Re: Off Spinning Guide
Yeah i was speaking in an off spinners sense but yeah as a wrong un would be harder to control. To hit your spots you should practice it, but remember your a leggie and if you over bowl your wrong un you may lose the control you have with your leg break.
If the batsmen...
Re: Off Spinning Guide

i have 3 areas i aim for each side of the wicket (when im bowling around and over the wicket) to lefties.
i have one outside their leg stump one on middle and one outside off (for over the wicket)

Help with my Drives
Hi,
I usually consider myself as a bowler ( i bat at no.7) and not much of a batsmen i average around 20 but with some good scores at the end of last season (40, 42 and 39* <-- the 39* included 8 boundaries).
But during this last preseason i seem to be having trouble with...
Re: Off Spinning Guide
He's a Defensive bowler at best in my eyes, not a big turner of the ball but has an ability to stay the same line continuously which isn't what you want in a spin bowler, not much variation (doesn't use his toppy much).
I reckon he's easily read and taken care of...
Re: Off Spinning Guide
Nah Breeno that's just my change up over (well one of them)
My normal overs consist of just off breaks varied in flight, length, pace and spin.. with maybe a toppy change at most
Re: Off Spinning Guide
Although being able to generate a large amount of turn is fantastic (i know because i spin the ball a lot as well)...
Variation is key in any spinners arsenal, i used to have the same problem but being able to turn it a whole load isnt useful unless used in small...
Re: Off Spinning Guide
ur theory is much like Murali's version of the doosra except more use of the thumb its interesting because murali goes for turn rather the the skid which is interesting.
but the back of my hand faces me when i bowl my doosra same flicking rotation with my second...
Re: Haunting dismissal
There are a few ways to play off spin, wait for it to spin then play it (.. alot harder then the others), come forward and play it at the pitch of the ball or stay in ur crease and play it off the back foot.
if it was his hat trick ball you'd probably want to stay in...
