3rd ODI: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh at Harare

Bangladesh drew first blood but Zimbabwe hit back in the second match with a dominant display lead by Vusi Sibanda who scored a commanding 93 not out to level the series 1-all. Earlier, Gary Brent and Sean Williams destroyed the Bangladesh batting order to set-up a straight-forward target for victory.

Zimbabwe looked a totally different outfit and dominated play throughout the day, something they haven't done for a very, very long time. Perhaps, this signals an end to the rut they have found themselves in since Zimbabwe Cricket was thrown into turmoil almost four years ago.

Bangladesh were disappointing in the second match and played poor cricket, especially with the bat. Their bowling was not much better either and Sibanda establish himself and by the time, they took some wickets, it was all too late.

Zimbabwe's win has breathed some life into the series and has made it all the more interesting. Many expected Bangladesh to breeze past Zimbabwe but the second game has ensured that this won't be the case.

Expect another good game here, both teams will be eager to win and get one up on the other.

Bangladesh 228-9 after 50.
Nafees was top scorer with 69

In reply, Zimbabwe is 204-5 after 43. They only need 25 more runs.
Looks like Zimbabwe will take a 2-1 lead in this series.

Re: 3rd ODI: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh at Harare

Looks like that earlier Zimbabwe score was a little off.

Zimbabwe all out for 214.
It was still close in the end, but Bangladesh have won.
Phew.

Re: 3rd ODI: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh at Harare

That's an appalling effort from Zimbabwe, were almost guaranteed victory with good batting early on but to throw the game away like that by losing 5-10 is just unacceptable.

That is a big choke by Zimbabwe, I think all involved would be very, very disappointed by such a lucklustre effort so late into the game.
