4th ODI: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

Bangladesh already have the series wrapped up, winning the first three. This one is to either help salvage some pride for Zimbabwe or to take Bangladesh one step away from a clean sweep.

Bangladesh chose to field first, and it's a decision that seems to have payed off tremendously for them.

Bangladesh has bowled Zimbabwe all out for 146 from 47.2 overs. Neither Williams nor Taylor could contribute many runs today for Zimbabwe. Their top scorers were Chigumbura and Dabangwa, both with 32.


Based on how the rest of this series has gone, this should be an easy run chase for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh 81-2 after 18 overs.

They only need 66 more runs to win. They seem to be well on their way to another victory here.

Bangladesh 125-2 after 30 overs.
They only need 22 more runs.
A pretty one-sided match.

Bangladesh 147-2 after 32.2 overs, they win by 8 wickets.
They now lead the series 4-0, with one match to go.

Aftab was top scorer with 58, but all of the Bangladesh players contributed and had good games, including Saqibul once again. (And Nafees as usual.)

One more to complete the sweep tomorrow.
