5th ODI, Pakistan v West Indies

West Indies will be looking to tie the series 2-2, and I think they'll have a positive attitude about it after finally picking up a win on this Pakistan trip in the 4th ODI.

Looks like Younis is out, Yousuf is in, and Inzi is a question mark.

Team news coming soon.

Re: 5th ODI, Pakistan v West Indies

Pakistan won the toss and Inzi elected to field.
A high scoring match is predicted today, we'll see.

Tons of changes for Pakistan, Inzi is back, along with Yousuf. Hameed gets to keep his spot, but Afridi is back on the outside looking in.

Only change for Windies is Collymore for Bradshaw.

West Indies Gayle, Chanderpaul, Simmons, Samuels, Lara, Smith, Morton, Ramdin, Powell, Mohammed, Collymore

Pakistan Hafeez, Hameed, Yousuf, Inzi, Malik, Akmal, Razzaq, Naved, Rehman, Sami, Gul

Entertaining start to the match, 79-2 after 20 overs for the West Indies.

Nice and even so far.

Re: 5th ODI, Pakistan v West Indies

West Indies 127-3 after 30

Gayle, Simmons, and Samuels are the three who have fallen so far, but with Chanderpaul and Lara in there right now, and a number of other batsmen still to come, West Indies should be looking to hit 250 by the time they're done today.

Re: 5th ODI, Pakistan v West Indies

181-3 after 40

a fine partnership between Lara and Chanderpaul

peoplw might not notice with all the highlights coming out of Australia's batting today, but Lara reached yet another milestone, scoring his 10,000th ODI run

With 7 wickets still in hand, there's no excuse not to let the bats fly for the last ten overs. West Indies should get at least 80 runs off of them.

Re: 5th ODI, Pakistan v West Indies

Chanderpaul gets his century, then out for 101

West Indies 217-6, with only 14 balls remaining.

The Pakistan bowlers have been very economical here at the end.
This may have swung the match in their favor.

Re: 5th ODI, Pakistan v West Indies

Okay, so Pakistan won fairly easily, and I just finished watching the replay, and one thing stood out as note-worthy:

Inzamam was named the official Fielder of the Series!
He was even laughing when they presented the award to him at the presentation ceremony.

Funny stuff.
