A-League Grand Final

Sadly a brilliant start for Melbourne

1-0 after 20 minutes

then...

2-0 after 28 minutes.

Archie Thompson the World Record holder for goals in an international match, has scored both goals.

:(

Re: A-League Grand Final

32 minutes in - Adelaide down to 10 men.

Ross Aloisi sent off after two yellow cards.

It has become a farce now.

:( :(

Re: A-League Grand Final

Archie Thompson lived up to his pre-match speech

hat-trick within 37 minutes

Melbourne 3-0

all over red-rover.

Adelaide were on a hiding to nothing.

Re: A-League Grand Final

wow, complete thrashing. 6-0 to the Victory. sad thing is, Sydney is representing Australia in the Asian champions league.

And Adelaide

What a game. Archie is a legend and 5 goals in a grand-final could, and quite possible, stand for ever.

The attitudes of Kosmina and their captain Aloisi was disgraceful. Insted of congratulating the Victory after being out played they had the balls in having a massive go at them and the refs. Get over it. Both of them need to leave Adelaide and the competition. It will make it a whole lot better.

Re: A-League Grand Final

the problem with Adelaide United (and to a lesser extent everyone else in the competition bar Sydney and Melbourne) is they believe the league "favours" Sydney and Melbourne, and it is true to a degree. Melbourne and Sydney can do no wrong, while anything Adelaide does is seen by the League as punishable.

they should have properly congratulated Melbourne on their win, that goes without saying.

But you have to question some decisions made by the league when Melbourne and Sydney are involved.

Try Kosmina and Muscat altercation early in the season. How is it that Muscat gets off with a yellow card? while Kosmina is bashed from pillar to post with any punishment the League can think of.

It's just an example, but it has happened a fair bit in the A-League.

That's because Kosmina acted like a jerk at all times whilst Muscat had a few suspensions during the season.
Kosmina and his skipper hated Muscat and targeted him at all times. Those sort of people shouldn't even be at the helm of any club or even any position.

Re: A-League Grand Final

What do you mean PF ? Kosmina is an angry man, But that can fire a team up. People like that are sought after all over the world. Ross Aloisi is a half decent player, He play's the game hard, Usually fair, But hard. That's why. They lead from the front. Not wanting to stick up for what they've done though.

Kosmina is a dickhead and shouldn't be coach of anything.
