Re: Associate Cricket January schedule

great job as per usual cleazer. Looking foward to a bunch more cricket, but too bad for those of us Eastern time zoners a lot of it is in Africa. Could be the worst time zone for us.

Re: Associate Cricket January schedule

By the way, apparently Zimbabwe will play an ODI series against Netherlands later this year. If it happens, that should be a good challenge for the Dutch.

Re: Associate Cricket January schedule

Found this in the latest african newsletter on the icc website.

First edition of the North-West African Tournament to be staged in Banjul from 20 to 30 May 2007.

The North-West African Region seems to have taken over from the West African Region. I assume to incorporate Morocco, but I don't know who else is involved. Maybe Mali? Does anyone have any info?

Also found the Tournament structure of the ECC over the next few years in their newsletter.

http://www.cricketeurope.net/docs/ECC/RESOURCES/ECCBrochure2006.pdf

Appears the winner of ECC Division 3 this year will play-off with Israel for a spot in the 2008 ECC Division 2 tournament.

Re: Associate Cricket January schedule

- Looks like the Asian Associates will play their Twenty20 Cup this year in Kuwait in November. (This is the tournament that is replacing the Asian Premier League this year.)

- Apparently Canada and Ireland are still looking for a suitable venue to play the Intercontinental Cup final at.
