Australia vs Bangladesh Match Thread

Slow going so far by Bangladesh, only 18 off 4 overs.

I feel that for some reason, Bangladesh have a mental block over playing the big 3 or 4, such as Australia or England. Once they can overcome this I think they'll improve quickly.

Getting up to the halfway stage now, with the score at 57 - 1. Wicket to fall was Nazimuddin, caught by Ponting off Johnson.

If they quick wickets in hand they should be able to get up to 140/150 you'd feel.

don't normally watch this types of games but have nothing else to do.

3rd wicket had gone with the score only on 80 odd of 14 overs. Struggle for Bangladesh.

Bracken was on one as well, great bowling or awful batting (depending on your point of view).

With that it's all over with Bangladesh on 123 for 8. Should be routine for the Aussies but after Zimbabwe the other day, you never know!

This man here, is the right bowler for this game, he has the ability to keep it straight and full, and put it in areas that batsmen only dare to chance, and with 95mph+ speed, well, he can knock over the stumps seemingly at will.

Braken was unlucky to miss out but Bangla show that they can put up a reasonable total, but against Australia you "need to do a South African," and be able to chase the impossible, or post it for a matter of fact.

Australia in thier form, will swat this off inside 14ovs!

Simbazz gets it almost spot on! The Aussies win in 13.5 overs for just the loss of Gilchrist.

Are they starting to warm to the twenty20 format now?
