Domestic sqauds 2008/2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

New South Wales and Victoria look to be strong again with Tasmania having a pretty handy bowling attack. Western Australia have a young line-up with a lot of players either leaving or retiring at the end of last year.

Queensland have lost three very good players over the winter so they might see a downturn in fortunes this season. South Australia look pretty weak, the Redbacks have decided to top up their list rather than develop their youngsters. However, a lot of younger players debuted last year and some didn't look to be up to it. The addition of Younis Khan will bolster their batting line-up though.

Should be another great season, time will tell how well these sides go, there may be a few surprises in store for us yet.

Re: Australian Domestic Cricket Squads

Come on WA! I know they don't have that much chance, but their batting is the strongest out of all the States, but their bowlers are piss weak, particularly since Johnson is going to be away most of the season. I'm thinking 4th in Shield, and the rest I don't give a flying
