Any more you can tell us? What led to it hurting, where in particular is the pain, what type of pain etc.

Just to add a few more questions ag23:

Was this session primarily pace bowling?
How long were you bowling for?
What warm up did you do?
What stretches did you do afterwards?

Re: back is hurting this one for liz

what i did was that i was practising my runup and then i cant throw a cricket ball in my basement so i used ping pong balls instead. I did stretch before i bowled alittle. But i didnt warm up and i did the same stretches afterwards. The stretches releifed pain in my higher back but then when i went go on the computer my lowerback hurt. Then after i little while more i did some pushups and i was all good. But why did my back hurt so much?

Re: back is hurting this one for liz

You need to mobilise the back before you practise next time; side bends and rotations. Keep moving, no static stretches.

It sounds like your action. You will probably find that your movement is restricted in the basement, tensing and putting stresses on the back muscles. It may be best to wait until you have more room to practice ;)
