Balls
I bowl wrist spin - you know the difficult stuff. As it is so difficult I tend to practice a lot both on my own and with anyone who wants to face me. So I tend to lose quite a few balls and I need to replace them. I couple of years ago I bought a few dozen balls off of ebay and I've still got a few kicking around and they're superb balls considering I only paid about 3 of your English pounds each for them. I bought others later off ebay - 'Davidson' balls and basically they're crap if you're going to use them with someone batting as they're rock hard. They're also slightly small and for a Wrist Spinner this as far as I'm concerned is not a good thing as it's easier to bowl with them and then when you play in a match with full size balls it suddenly feels very different.
So the question is who makes a reasonable ball for a reasonable price? The unfortunate thing about my good cheap balls off ebay was that the name/brand of the ball had been rubbed off by the time I realised it'd be useful to re-order some more of them!
Any ideas?
I've just looked around and seen the Slazenger Crown match ball - I've used these before and they've fallen apart within 20 overs in a cricket match - anyone else used these and found this?
