Bluetooth

I'm having trouble getting my phone to connect to this laptop through my bluetooth dongle.

Have tried everything including reinstalling. Has anyone got any ideas to help?

whats the range of the bluetooth in your laptop. they say its 100 or 10 meters but i can only get it to work from a couple of feet.
