Bosman, Bopara to miss World Cup

South Africa and England have both been dealt harsh blows just a week out from the start of the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup. Opening batsman Loots Bosman and all-rounder Ravi Bopara have both succumbed to injuries attained from playing international cricket over the last fortnight.

This is more of a blow to England than South Africa I feel. Though Bosman is a big hitter I don't really think that he's good enough for the international game (in any format).

Ravi would have done well and its a huge loss to England. Hope they can replace him in the squad.

Bopara is a huge blow for the Poms. He is a great lower order batsman and a very underused ODI bowler. He will be gutted after just coming back from injury - I feel sorry for the poor bloke.
