Akhila Ranganna: Hello and welcome to Bowl at Boycs. I'm Akhila Ranganna and as always I have with me Geoffrey Boycott to answer all your queries.

Geoffrey, wish you a very happy new year. How have you been doing?

Geoffrey Boycott: Very good. Lots of sunshine. Bit of golf, and watched a bit of cricket on television.

AR: Geoffrey, there has been a lot of cricket action this week, both on and off the field, and we have a lot of questions related to that. The first one actually comes in from a whole host of people - they have a similar query. It's from Anshuman, Karthik, Raghudev and Gary and they say that the standard of umpiring in the Sydney Test was very poor and could have perhaps cost India the Test. Even when technology was used, the right decision wasn't reached, as in the case of Symonds' stumping decision in the first innings. What do you think the way forward should be now?
