Bradbury or Laver and Wood?

Has anyone else had or has either a Bradbury bat or a Laver and Wood? I am thinking of ordering one, can't decide which yet and I noone in my team has either. So, I would like to know what other people think of them and whether anyone has played with one before.

Thanks

Re: Bradbury or Laver and Wood?

I've been fortunate to own both.

Personally I'd go for the one you can pick up, if your local retailer has a Bradbury range go through their bats and find a beauty. If you can't get to a store stocking Bradbury then I'd go for Laver and Wood.

Give James an email with your style of play and let him suggest a shape, I'd also stress that it picks up well rather than it have a huge profile. I had one with big edges, but in order to get this large profile a lot of weight was taken away from the shoulders equating to a rather bottom heavy bat.

But both are decent companies and if I were offered another I wouldn't decline. I've currently got a couple of Fusion's and a Warsop at the moment, they're also good bats.

I'll have to echo what evo says and agree that both Laver and Bradbury make decent bats.

Laver and Wood seem to offer slightly better customer service but saying that I've only had limited dealings with Bradbury.

I would start by having a look at both their sites - Laver and Wood and Bradbury. Depending on where you're based you may be able to pick up a bargain.
