Cricket Photo's

Re: Cricket Photo's

Sometimes its easy to overlook that someone has to take those photos. I always tend to think of photographers as taking portraits or press photos but I guess there are a million and one things that need photos.

Quick question for someblokecalleddave, slightly off topic but I`ve spent all day trying to buy a digital camera. All I want is family snaps (B-B-Qs, Partys), dog up park etc. Easy to understand (my Dad might have to use it !) for about £150 could you recomend. I do prefer the SLR looking type could you at least give me a reliable make please?

Tom - I shoot everything apart from weddings! You get a wedding wrong here in Essex people come round with guns to settle the fact that you screwed up their daughters wedding. Yeah - I've sold stock pictures of peoples fingers pressing light switches, spit under a microscope, all sorts of stuff and as you say someone somewhere needs a picture some day!

Wayne - There's tons on EBAY starting from 99p each. Make sure the description includes the "D" for digital

Cameras - I hate em myself because I'm a Nikon man, but Canon make phenomenally simple to use Digital SLR cameras at very cheap prices when new. As far as I now they don't retail at that price new, but the type of people that use Canon EOS cameras update them very quickly because the specs change every few months and they have to be seen with the new gadgets. So I reckon either at your local camera shop you should be able to pick up a 2nd hand Canon EOS for around that price.
