Domestic Season Movements

Tim McDonald's move to Tasmania has been confirmed.

Don't know why Tim would move to Tasmania really. He has got more of an opportunity here than over there. WA's bowling attack isn't that strong and I'm sure he would be able to get a game should the likes of Edmonson, Magoffin, Dorey, MacLaughlan or Wates not perform.

Tim did play a first-class game and a couple of Twenty20's so it wasn't as if he wasn't getting a go.

He is going to find it hard to get into a Tasmanian side that boasts Hilfenhaus, Griffith, Wright, Geeves, Drew and Butterworth. He'll be well down the pecking order to start with.
