GCA Div 1,2,3 Previews and Predictions 2010/11

as we are fast approaching the 2010/11 cricket season, who do we all think will be premiers, woodenspooners, surprise packets, letdowns, leading runs/wickettakers for each division?

Well swap St Peters for Waurn Ponds and im almost spot on..

Anyone got any new thoughts about our GCA 2 season ?

Do St Peters still have a chance ?

Are Marshall & Waurn Ponds the real deal ?

I don't think Waurn Ponds or Marshall can win it. The teams in market order are City $1.45, Highton $2.50, Torquay $3.50 Guild $5, NDCC $5, St Albans $5.50, Waurn Ponds $6, AT $10, St Peter's $14, Marshall $21, Murgeboluc $81, North Shore $1001

Thoughts?

I think Shannon Young has been the find of the season, absolutely creams it could single handedly win them the flag- Get him early though and they are very beatable.

Anyone else have any thoughts on premiership contenders?

your probably under-cutting St Albans a tad there.... and St Peters are not worthy of fronting Marshall... after the drubbing the bears just handed them.. Young is probably the recruit of the year... Andrew Spengler has been good value for us since crossing too.
On paper the final would probably come down to, City/Highton/St Albans/Newcomb. but as weve seen Torquay prove paper doesnt win games.. and could cause upsets come finals time.. a few interesting games this week should give us a better idea.
